The Team

CAROLINE LEEK

Caroline is the founder of the multi-award winning Fruit Fly Collective, an organisation that focuses on supporting families, and communities affected by cancer.

Her dad died of cancer when she was 12, and the impact of not receiving any support is the key reason that she is working towards making family-centred care a priority in the cancer world.

PENNY PHILLIPS

Penny is the founder of the charity The Parent Village, an organisation that helps parents navigate their journey through parenthood, by building on their own experiences, values and culture, to improve the mental wellbeing of the whole family.

Penny is a qualified and experienced coach and facilitator, and has spent the last 6 years developing a peer led parenting programme that serves vulnerable parents in east London.
