    Free psychological support. Great spaces to go to sit, learn and or join an activity. Centres all over the UK. Online support provided as well.

  • Shine cancer support

    Break Out programme (6 weeks, online, for anyone in treatment or remission). Shine Circles (6 weeks, online, for those with incurable cancer). Shine Plus Ones Circle (6 weeks, online, for partners of younger adults with cancer):

    A simple, online resource helping people find cancer support services in their local area wherever they are in the UK.

  • Hope Support Services

    Helps young people aged five to twenty five when a loved one has a serious illness.

  • The Osborne Trust

    Support for children and young people across the UK & Northern Ireland whose parent have a cancer diagnosis, are undergoing cancer treatment, has seen a cancer recurrence, died from cancer & beyond.

  • Ruth Strauss Foundation

    Emotional support and guidance (one to one virtual appointments) to help parents that receive a diagnosis for a cancer that cannot be cured, to help them prepare their children. Facilitated peer support groups for teenagers and peer support group for parents/co-parents, whose partner has incurable cancer.

  • Mummy's Star

    Provides emotional support to mums who were diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy, their partners and the wider family. Online resources, support from peers through closed forums, bespoke support directly with a dedicated support worker, and small grant applications. In certain areas of the UK, we can also provide home visits.

  • Breast Cancer Now

    Free support for anyone affected by breast cancer. Services include: Talking to a nurse, joining a course, meeting other people who understand. There is specific support for primary or secondary breast cancer in younger women (under 45 yrs), as well as support after breast cancer.

  • Fruit Fly Collective

    Tools and toolkits to help parents diagnosed with cancer, talk to their children and help them understand the disease. Tools to support their emotional well-being by demonstrating different ways of coping and communicating.

    A resource page full of free resources in different formats (comics, animations, text) for younger children, teenagers, adults and schools.

  • Pip's Kit

    Pip’s Kit supports children aged 5-10 years who have a parent diagnosed with incurable cancer, or who is in end of life care. Age appropriate information about cancer, illness, grief and death. Ideas on coping, communicating and collecting memories.

  • Future Dreams Online Hub

    Practical tips, expert advice, personal stories and signposts to further information for people impacted by breast cancer, provided by people impacted by breast cancer

  • CLAN

    Emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer, their family, carers and friends. Services are freely offered to all from pre-diagnosis and diagnosis through treatment and beyond at support and wellbeing centres located across the north-east of Scotland and Northern Isles.

  • Little C Club

    Sets of flash cards to help open up difficult conversations about cancer, and to promote open and honest communication in a non scary away.

  • WOLO Foundation

    Helps families living in Sussex through their cancer journeys. Practical help and support to make day-to-day life easier. They work with local businesses and communities to offer families a wealth of services to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

  • Chai Cancer Care

    Provides free, professional and expert support to any member of the Jewish community affected by cancer, as well as their family and friends.

  • The Fountain Centre

    Family and children’s support service within Surrey helping families and children when a parent has cancer. Supports parents in talking to their children about their cancer diagnosis. Support for schools to better understand and manage situations when a parent has cancer.

  • The Parent Village

    A charity committed to improving parental mental health, wellbeing, and confidence. They offer different types of support to alleviate the pressure parents experience, provide routes to join other parents, and supply resources to encourage the growth of a supportive community.

  • Parenting Project

    Support for parents available throughout Warwickshire and beyond, and includes Family Wellbeing Support, Counselling and Parent Mentoring.

  • Something to look forward to

    A charity website for people with cancer and their families to access a variety of gifts generously donated by people and companies. Find anything from restaurant meals, hotel stays, beauty treatments, tickets for events and attractions…

  • RABI

    The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution provides local support to the farming community across England and Wales. Support is tailored to each applicant and initial advice can be accessed via the RABI freephone helpline 0800 188 4444 or through referral.

  • Big C Charity

    Big C Centres at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn offering support for anyone affected by cancer. Services also include family therapy and 1:1 child counselling with trained counsellors in a safe and welcoming environment.

  • The Chris Aked Foundation

    Support for children of families dealing with cancer and other life affecting illnesses, offering help through physical and sporting activities, counselling and memory-making days. They can arrange memory-making days and activities throughout England, however our counselling support is currently only available in boroughs of south-east London and Kent.

  • Purple Heart Wishes

    A charity based that grants wishes to adults who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness aged between 18–55.

  • Fighting to be heard

    Helping women living with secondary breast cancer ease the financial pressure.

  • Imago Community

    Provides support to people, families, and communities across Kent, East Sussex, Medway and South London. Services focus on improving health and wellbeing, tackling loneliness, and helping people access the right support.

  • Matt’s Respite Retreats

    Offer respite breaks for those affected by cancer. Three and four night breaks at a Haven site called Weymouth Bay Holiday Park.

  • Help Harry Help Others

    Supporting anyone affected by cancer in Solihull & Birmingham. There are qualified counsellors that can support adults and children, funding for families suffering financial hardship, an after school club run for the teens by the teens, and workshops focussing on specific topics.

  • 4 Cancer

    Organises days out and short breaks for families affected by cancer and giving families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times.

  • Pink Sisters & Misters

    Supporting people living in Stoke on Trent area, who have been affected by cancer. Support incudes: counselling sessions, home whilst undergoing treatment to help with the small tasks and face to face meetings.

  • Paul's Cancer Support

    Provides physical and emotional support and wellbeing services to anyone affected by cancer, no matter where you are (Centre is based in Battersea, London, but lots on online support). Services include: Counselling & complementary therapies; support Groups, and classes & workshops.

  • Penny Brohn

    Help people feel better in mind, body and spirit by offering everybody with cancer a choice of personalised cancer care. All free, safe and backed by research.

    Services include: Wellbeing days and residential retreats at our beautiful centre on the outskirts of Bristol, treatment support programme, and ‘How to Live Well with Cancer’ Programme.

  • Blood Cancer UK

    Support service team operates a free & confidential helpline & email address for patients and or family members who wish support at any point.

  • Families Together Service: Home From Hospital

    Families Together provide a flexible support service to parents, carers and children aged 0-18 via telephone, digitally and with age appropriate resource packs.

    They can help with: Personalised support throughout treatment pathway, school/nursery liaison , emotional support, pre bereavement support, help to source childcare, signposting.

  • Jigsaw South East

    Information, advice and guidance to help support bereaved children and young people and those facing the death of a loved one.
